The Reverend Dr. DeShaun Williams is an international best-selling author, inspirational speaker, mental health advocate, and ordained minister with a heart for helping others rise into their God-given calling. As the founder of Write Your Way, LLC, a Christian faith-based company, Dr. Williams equips aspiring authors—especially first-time writers—with the support and structure they need to write with purpose, publish with confidence, and walk boldly in their divine assignment.
Rooted in the promise of Psalm 119:105 — “Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path” — Dr. Williams empowers others to embrace their unique voice, share their story with conviction, and follow the path God has set before them with clarity and unwavering faith.
Holding a Doctor of Divinity and certifications in both coaching and critical thinking, Dr. Williams bridges the sacred and the strategic—offering spiritual wisdom alongside practical tools. His work is not just about books; it’s about breakthrough. His mission is to guide others from hesitation to action, from blank pages to published work, and from self-doubt to bold storytelling that transforms lives.
Beyond his literary and ministerial work, Dr. Williams is a passionate advocate for mental health and suicide prevention through the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), and an active member of the NAACP, championing justice, equity, and healing in communities across the country.

Lightkeeper Review is a manuscript feedback experience designed for writers of realistic fiction. I review your first 25 pages or 3 chapters (whichever comes first) and provide thoughtful, faith-rooted feedback on structure, voice, message, clarity, and emotional impact. This is not editing — it is a deep, story-centered refinement that helps you move forward with confidence.
This review is for any writer working on a realistic fiction manuscript — whether it is your first book or your fifth. If you are looking for honest, faith-rooted feedback that strengthens your story without compromising your voice, this is for you.
The manuscript review is $397. You can also add a 1-on-1 follow-up call for $75 if you would like to walk through your feedback in real time.
No. This is not a copyediting or rewriting service. I will provide detailed notes and guidance to help you improve your manuscript, but you will make the revisions. My goal is to support your voice, not replace it.
